Revelation 19:13 "And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God. " He shed His blood to remove all sins which justifies us (just as if we'd never sinned). It qualifies us to accept the invitation to the wedding feast. Don't you think you should at least read His book, the authorized King James Version Bible? Seems to me you would want to find out what God is all about? God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Ghost are one person. Jesus imputes His righteousness into us, which includes the Holy Spirit.The Requirement? that we believe that Jesus died and rose on the 3rd day to prove that He is alive forever. "I will worship toward Thy holy temple, and praise Thy name for Thy lovingkindness and for Thy truth: for Thou hast magnified thy word above all Thy name."

Hello Friends, I received this email from a ministry in Canada sent by: packnovapack@aol.com on Sat, Feb 18, 2023 about the Asbury Revival which began February 11, 2023. I gathered videos and articles of pros and cons for your information. This email's subject is: God's "Awakening" in the youth is spreading rapidly across the U.S. What is happening in Asbury University. Is it a "revival" or an "awakening?" In 1971 an issue of Time Magazine concluded there was a spiritual awakening in America with the Jesus Movement primarily amongst the youth. Here is the quote from that 1971 issue of Time Magazine, "Jesus is alive and well and living in the radiant spiritual fervor of a growing number of young Americans. … If any one mark clearly identifies them, it is their total belief in an awesome, supernatural Jesus Christ, not just a marvelous man who lived 2,000 years ago, but a living God." This is what is happening in Asbury University and the other churches and universities at the present time. A revival is where the church comes alive again and is more like a restoration of times gone by. Similarly, but distinguishable, an awakening is when God sovereignly pours out His Spirit and it impacts a culture by having Believers drop a particular philosophy that is popular in world, and that is seeking self-love, self-centeredness, self-promotion, and self-focused, which has quashed servanthood and failure to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. It is the awakening of the truth that the Believer does not seek agape love from the Lord, so they in turn can show agape love to others, which is really all the flavors of the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). It is the discovery that "religion" promotes authority and power and gifts and not agape love as the underlying good character brought by the soul maturity expressing the fruit of the spirit. Being awakened means to receive agape love from God and the Lord Jesus Christ, so you know what true agape love is, so you can agape love the Lord and agape love other members of the body of Christ. Jesus through the Holy Spirit is asking young people now at Asbury University, and other universities and Churches to agape Him and to feed the lambs and sheep with love, just like Jesus did with Peter in John 21:15-17, "So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, 'Simon, son of Jonas, lovest (agapao -in a social or high moral sense ) thou Me more than these?' He saith unto Him (Jesus), 'Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love (phileo- friendship) Thee.' He saith unto him (Peter), 'Feed My lambs.' (16) He (Jesus) saith to him again the second time, 'Simon, son of Jonas, lovest (agapao) thou Me? He saith unto Him, 'Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love (phileo) thee.' He saith unto him, 'Feed my sheep.' (17) He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest (phileo) thou Me? Peter was grieved because He said unto him the third time, 'Lovest (phileo) thou me?' And he said unto Him, 'Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love (phileo) thee.' Jesus saith unto him, 'Feed my sheep.'" What is important is agape love and the first group that Jesus charged Peter to "feed" were the lambs, the young people. Perhaps, this is why the Holy Spirit is awakening young people first with His presence. God and the Lord Jesus Christ (Whose divine nature is God the Word) wants disciples, now, not just converts. God wants to raise up strong witnesses to preach the gospel of the the Kingdom of God (Matthew 24:14), along with preaching repentance and remission of sins (Luke 24:47), being witnesses throughout the whole world (Acts 1:8) to show the world there is but one God and Creator (Isaiah 40:28) and that Jesus Christ is Lord (1Corinthians 8:6). Jesus not only is our Savior, but also our Salvation. To be awakened is allowing Jesus to be King in your soul and taking yourself off of the throne in your soul. Galatians 2:20 says, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
